Hey everyone, we may, rather I may, have a slight problem here.
I thought I picked the domain up today, I just checked whois and it's still showing another owner ATM. I dont know exactly whats going on. I got billed for the registration, everything seemed to go fine, now I'm wondering.

Allow me to figure out what the problem is here. I may have not got it. I just dont see why they would allow the registration to go through and bill me for it. I dunno, hope I grabbed this and the whois is just slow to update.

The problem here is that a LOT of registrars have serious problems figuring out the availability of domain names in certain extensions due to poor coding/implementation. And they suck.

Yep, domainers definately should have a look at some European ccTLD's (.be / .nl / .de ), bigger deals going on behind the scenes than you might imagine.

LESSON 2: .nl is better than .cc , .ws

It sure is, I even would dare to say it's wiser to invest in mainstream ccTLD's than in this kind of micro-country ccTLD's.

So unless you bought I don't think you will get it.
