I made the mistake of not booking in advance ( as I was not 100% sure if other business would clash ) ... now my hotel rate doubled in last few days ... ie the DomainSponsor coupon no longer works .... and the Hilton is now €505 a night , as opposed to €230 a night... ah well ....

I'm not staying at the Hilton. I found my hotel through http://www.hotels.nl/ they include maps too so you can see where the hotel is in respect to the conference and ... everything else

I submitted the maximum 20 domains to Domainfest, not offering my best domains but rather names that were basically german and swiss because of the region. 2 were later marked as Silent possibles despite not having nearly as high a "nicit" value as others. So now how do I erase the 18 not selected for Live/Silent and submit good names likely to be chosen.

Don't look at the NICIT Rank to make your selection. Domainfest is an international event, it just has a larger european touch than usual. Good solid english coms are always good, but real strong names in european ccTLDs will certainly also be a highlight. Just look at po/ker*de or vehi/culos*es.

...and make sure your starting price ist interesting enough!!!

The live auction will take place in the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel and people can bid raising their hand. Prebids are accepted via Fax.

The silent auction will run similar to normal online auctions.
