First off, it's dangerous to ask here if a name is worth registering, because if someone thinks it is worth registering.. they'll register it themself.

I don't think that solidace has anything to do with webhosting, but that doesn't matter. Because at one point, eBay didn't have anything to do with online auctions. So if you are planning on developing it, then it's an okay name.
