Category killer.

GolfResorts.com was sold for 60k in 2005, and is worse.

And we all know of skiresorts.com

Pretty much best "resorts" domain on market. Huge market. Huge advertisers. 60+ bids on "spa resorts" keywords competition.

Domain was dropped in 2000. Originally registered on 1996 or before. web.archive tracks back to 1996.

Hard to evaluate "good buy" since we don't know the acquisition price, but agree that this is a great domain with excellent potential.

What I find noteworthy is that Estibot valued this domain at $40K a few months ago, $100K less than it's current Estibot evaluation. Estibot is extremely handy in determining a basic domain value, but in the end, the true value of a domain name rests solely with what the owner is able to accomplish with it.
