I've found one expiring soon domain I may want to register. Regged at enom. The domain is not expired yet. Administrative, technical and billing contacts are enom reseller themselves, while registrant is different. I guess this is not this resellers policy to put themselves as all contacts (other domains with this reseller are fine).
I wonder why could this happen and what can this mean for me:
1(bad). Enom reseller wants to "catch" this domain for himself so it would never drop. Are enom resellers able and are they allowed to change whois for sold domains?
2(good). Owner initiated a chargeback or there may be other identification problems with the owner, so they most likely would not renew the domain?
any oppinions appreciated.
