I own VA [dot] org and am in the process of putting a plan together to developing out a new, full site. One approach we are considering is to become a portal for veterans causes via the utilization of subdomains. Our thought is to provide free hosting on subdomains for veteran-related 501c3 organizations and charge any for-profit companies that would like exposure on the site. Does anyone know of a company that is successfully using such a subdomain approach that I we can take a look at? Interested in seeing for-profit or non-profit sites using subdomains well. Thanks!

I'd like to reserve screwthe.va.org for a blog of how many senators, congress men, lawyers, VA employees, embassy workers, how many doors slammed, how many calls ended, etc. etc. to get 30% and even more people to get in touch with to be upgraded to 50% and I'm still in a battle for 70-100% (though, the back pay will amount to low $XXX,XXX when I receive it).

I can post a lot of info on how to get from your initial rating to a review in 3 days... and it didn't include violence. ;)
