Does anyone else have problems changing nameservers on enom? I get the following error message when I try to switch from enom nameservers to the user specified nameservers option:

Errors modifying nameservers: Nameservers for xxxxx.com cannot be registered

This error occurs with every domain in my account. Any ideas?

Me too - I sent an email through the Support Centre but I think it came back as an invalid address! - still trying - suggest you send in a support ticket as well.

They aren't .orgs are they?

The .org registry is having (not so) intermittent problems.

It has refused to recognise my NS updates a few times, but has normally accepted them on the second attempt.

(edit: I'm talking about allocating a .com Name Server, e.g. ns1.trafficz.com, to a newly registered .org domain, e.g. agie.org)

No...They are .coms

Although it is temporarily not possible to change .com/.net names to a .org nameserver, this is a different problem currently and has been going on since yesterday. It applies to all extensions.

Hello

I got the same error?

Try setting the nameservers back to enoms nameservers. Then try to register, or set nameservers.

That doesn't work either.

It works for me now. No more problems.

Still not working for me

This one reason I haven't moved my name servers domain name from Opensrs. I don't want any trouble that a move could cause.

I just now changed the name servers for a major client's domain (25,000 members) with enom - a dot Net - it went thru OK. Reduntant servers a full MySQL trnasfer and mirroening etc - not that I know that stuff ;)

The domains and name servers I can not afford trouble with I keep with BulkRegister - but I can not afford to keep all of them there.

Enom have confirmed that they have had problems and say it should be resolved today.
