With Tablets being all the rage at CES in Vegas, can I have some opinions on this domain

startupsmart.com.au/growth/innovation/2011-01-10/tablets-and-apps-dominate-2011-ces.html

tuaw.com/2010/03/25/tablet-apps-to-be-a-8-billion-dollar-industry/

Thanks all

If the domain is TabletApp.com I think that it has great potential. I am not a fan of prefixes/suffixes across the entire dictionary, but this one actually makes sense.

Thanks Acro, appreciate your comments

Not sure what you mean by "suffixes/prefixes", its just "Tablet Applications", just like Phone Applications for example? Its an actual product?

Thanks again

I mean when you stick a word (real or made up) before or after a keyword. So in this case tablet + app.
A common mistake domainers make is that ANY keyword plus a popular prefix/suffix can be combined, e.g. MacaroniApp.com would be junk, and so is 3DUnderwear.com :D

It's going to be a big market this year. You should develop an online App Store. I am not sure if Apple or Google offer affiliate service. Check them out.

I didn't say it is a made up word :)
Simply pointed out that although this combination works, others might not.
It's "all the rage" as you stated, to register "app" domains right now.
Again, TabletApp.com is a good one.

last bump, thanks to all who appraised

decent name but would make much more sense in the plural

Thanks nrmillions, I agree totally but the owner of that wanted a lot of money? I had to settle for second best on this one...

I've had good luck with "app" related domains, including some that Acro would probably label as garbage. Lots of money and effort being invested in the app market (including tons of startups).

I would recommend using GoDaddy premium listings as that is where I have had the most luck selling "App" related domains (especially brandables, but it may prove useful in your case too). It allows you to offer your domains directly to end-users. Of course 30% commission and up to 2 months to get your money are things to consider. Free to list though as long as the domain is at GoDaddy.
