TaxiBurbank(dot)com

This domain serves a clear purpose and needs further development! Excellent domain for your own project or in cooperation with a taxi business in the Burbank/LA area. I am just too busy with other projects that are closer to my home so I decided to let this one go quickly.

I live in Burbank and you can seriously not find a taxi when you need one. They line up at hotels at their convenience. They camp at the airport and only cruise the same streets between breaks. Unless you are walking and can flag one, getting one is a problem. The taxi companies oeprate from lax centered basis and those don't want to drive to burb for pickups dropoffs.

Problem is, calling one of these is thru a nationwide service where you have to read a phone book to get an operator to get you a cab. 45 minute wait is COMMON. A site for this anme (I am unaffiliated) could get decent traffic IMHO.

Thanks myst woman. Yeah, I have read about some complaints by customers in the Burbank area. I know there's a market for this. I'm running a taxi site in Europe where I'm living although i'm not a taxi operator. If one wants to monetize seriously on a site like this, you've got to live in the area or at least be able to visit the area and talk to local taxi business owners. Once you put a phone number on the site people start calling for a cab ride. At least, that's my experience. Btw, Burbank certainly is an interesting area, I spend a couple months there and hope to go back one day.
Hope the mods don't mind the slight thread drift :)

Thanks
