Colorado has on there ballot a petition to split their electorial vote, IE: if republicans get 40 percent of popular vote and dems 60 percent then electorial vote will be split 60/40 problem is courts will have to decide if voting on the measure they same day as presidential election is even legal, they should have had vote on this issue prior to presedential election IMHO

It's a great idea; brings the election closer to the "popular vote"... ya know, kinda like a Democracy.

Democracy is that thing we are trying to push onto other countries even though we don't really do it ourselves at home.

Ben Franklin once said, "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch."

I agree we don't have pure popular democracy, but I think that's a "good thing".
