Namecheap.com is down for me today. Anyone else?

EDIT: back up for me

I'm considering working with NameCheap more often, just wondering if anyone has arranged special pricing with them? I know it's possible to get coupons (although they seem to only bring the price down to around $8) but I'd like to get a permanent discounted price.

I want to work with NameCheap because the interface seems very good. I tried Moniker after all the good reviews, but the CP seems really non-intuitive in so many ways (could just be me :-) )

I agree Namecheap is great. They have a reseller scheme available but I believe there is an annual fee of $150 and a $9.99 fee on each name. Why would I pay $9.99 as a reseller when I can get the names from them at $8.88 (their regular price) ? Also with the coupons you can lower the price to $7.99 actually...
$7.99 is still a reasonable price and their interface is good IMO. And their support is real if and when you need it.

I get constant renewal notices from Namecheap for names I transferred out long ago, i dislike that alot.

Email them asking for the names to be removed. I have to do this every time I start getting those emails as well. I am down to only 3 names there now. I like namecheap but I have cheaper wholesale accounts elsewhere.

It's a pain to manage too many registars so I have consolidated 95% of my portfolio between just 2 registars. One day I hope to consolidated 95% into just one (Moniker).

I took advantage of that registerfly deal to transfer to them for only $4 a name. I saved a few hundred bucks for a couple hours work. I hope to get out of RF though asap.

We are working on the intuitivity of the CP (I don't think it is just you)... hopefully at some point give us another chance... we really do make customer service, security and satisfaction our primary focuses.
