The Bourne Ultimatum is the third installment of the trilogy featuring Matt Damon. The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy were successful in the box office. After reading an article about the book "The Bourne Ultimatum", I registered:

The movie is expected to come out in early 2006. Fox already owns the .com for both domains. Even if there would be legal issues, I'm thinking of creating a fansite. Any value or appraisals? Thanks.

Per my post here: http://dnforum.com/showpost.php?p=449451&postcount=5

As long as it's not the .com, if you make a fansite on it they usually won't go after you. Definately never send them an email offering to sell it. In fact don't try to sell it period. If they find out they can take it just like that, (and they can anyway). Just operate as a fansite and chances are they won't bother you because you aren't a .com.

I've received C&D letters on this very issue. Trying to sell will only make they strike down harder on you.

Reg fee only, because if you try to sell for a profit.. uh oh.

If you are in the U.S., you could be fined $100,000 for cybersquatting. Otherwise they could just take the name and make it more likely for other people to take your other names using this as proof of your bad intent.

This name is a serious negative value attached to it, so "reg fee" is entirely too generous.

Bump*

I made this thread almost three years ago and let the names expire. Should I have held onto them? Do they have any value now?

The movie was good. Move along.

Cant look back at what you should have done... You would have seen a traffic hike for the next few weeks, and then it would level back down and you would still be in fear of a C&D.

Awesome movie though... maybe not as good as the first, but a very close 2nd.
