I ran a little research on our database (around 250mln active domains) and I extracted the IP addresses with the most domains pointing to them and the companies that operate them.
For example the winner is GoDaddy with 7mln domains pointing to a single IP. You can see the table with the top 100 most crowded IPs here.
Another interesting fact is that 60% of the domains point to a unique IP address but 40% of the IP addresses have 2 or more domains pointing to them.
