It's official! "The A-Team" will be remade into a movie for the big screen. In what is sure to be a box-office success, Mr. T may even reprise his roll as B.A., or perhaps as a cameo extra. The writer behind James Bond and one of the producers from the original 80's show are on staff to make this movie into a reality. Nostalgic fans (and new fans as well) will certainly* flock to the web for the latest news and information. (see http://breakingnews.iol.ie/entertainment/story.asp?j=120504316&p=yzx5x5xzz for more details)
20th Century Fox already has their domain set aside for this movie: a-teammovie.com.
I just happen to have bought these other domains (after Fox took their pick) and am making them available for purchase right here:
ateammovie.com
a-teamovie.com
theateammovie.com
thea-teammovie.com
This group would certainly make an excellent fan site, I simply don't have the time to develop it. This is an ideal time to begin this site, posting news, following production, and finally, capitalizing on movie-going traffic.*
Price for the lot: $299 or best offer (post offers in thread).
Fine Print: Yes, there are possible trademark issues from the use of these domain names, although movie fan sites rarely bring down the wrath of big production companies (free publicity, right?). I would, however, not advise trying to sell these domains to 20th Century Fox (although I have not tried). Consult with your attorney for the best way to utilize these domains to capitalize on the certain hoards of traffic* without losing your shirt. Yada, yada, yada. You know all this already or you wouldn't be at this forum. I have received no C&D letters or other correspondence from Fox, and have no reason to believe there will ever be such. Even so, bottom line: you bear all legal responsibility for what does or does not happen as a result of buying/developing these domains.
Also note that this is a sales forum, not a legal forum. If you are not interested in buying these domains, do not post. Thanks for understanding.
* Any references to traffic are forecasts, and not guarantees of any actual visitors, either now, or when (or even IF) this movie becomes a reality.
