Yes, I have sold one domain which I would not renew it any longer and someone jumped to buy it with mid $xxx.
However, I won't tell it out that I don't want to HURT the buyer's feeling to make him/her think he/she is laughed at by the seller.
I believe this domain must be something to the buyer

Sold a (common) trademarked domain to the TM owner for $1750. Would have given it to them if they'd asked nicely. Just checked the whois and apparently they let it drop and a fellow speculator now has it.

I sold a domain based on a videogame. The name was trademarked. They offered me $1000, I sold to them about a month later for $7500 (Plus free "future" games and some autographed games).

The name itself isn't all that great. It couldn't really be used for anything other than something about that game.
