I just built this, so it probably has bugs like:

* Amazon links haven't optimised for subject yet (their beta 'self-optimising' associate program)

* RSS from Yahoo may block with too many views from same IP

* Looks OK in both Mac and Win browsers as far as I can tell, but may be glltches - please advise!

* I built this as a template and it may need more pages to adhere to Adsense TOS, but maybe not as it has dynamic content

* The central graphic is a large .png file because I have turned on a 'reflection' option -- I plan to change this to a much smaller .jpg

Please take a look and give me your comments, and what you think the site and domain is worth. I have owned it since 1998 but done nothing at all with it. I have about 600 more to do

http://www.thefishing(.)net -- remove braces of course.

NOTE: Title is *wrong* domain. Correct domain is above. I own both and got confused. Goof.

Thanks!

I don't see anything.

It says...
This is the placeholder for domain thetennis.net. If you see this page after uploading site content you probably have not replaced the index.html file.

I only see a placeholder as well.

Looking pretty good mate. I would be more inclined to go with a blue and black theme, instead of red. Seems too out there to me, and blue is more associated with the ocean. The value for the most past is in the age of the domain.

Get rid of that pic even though it looks nice.
300K is just too big.
Change to something less than 20K at most.

Page seem bit too wide?

@ dcristo: Good idea! I used 'salmon pink' as that was the gist of the article.
@ copper: It's going matey! It will be a <40Kb .jpg later.

Thanks all! Keep the comments coming! I plan on using it as a template so I don't want to miss anything. Mac users will have a slightly better experience of the site I think. It was 'Made on Mac' but I decided to leave that little logo off.

Now on eBay and posted as such in correct forum.
