Unix is one of the most popular computer operating system. A search on "UNIX" at google.com returns 15,000,000 results. Would like to hear your comment. TQ

The - The Prefix :)

It's one of the good ones, but still a prefix and less common that either "I" or "E". True about Unix, and THE works here - just don't expect too much for it. Worth regg fees and a nice $100 to $300 more.

TheUnix sounds awkward but is better than eUnix and Iunix

I think it could work! "the" gives it an implied superiority. You would have to imagine a made-up character or entity called "The UNix" to appreciate. Of course unix.com wouild be better!

Think TheMatrix vs Matrix

$50-95

I don't like it. Too awkward, but you should be able to make a little back from it. Good luck

UNIX is a registered trade mark of Unix Systems Laboratory.

Hmmm... good question.

I thought it was only a generic word coz it was very commonly used. The interesting fact I find is that only "UNIX" (all cap) is the registered trademark, but not "Unix". Whatever... the confusion still probably constitutes a trademark infringement.
