hi all

I have got one more feather in my cap

please appraise this

http://www.railwayreservations.com

I think this is worth more than a 1000$

give me your views

thanks in advance

I would give it a wholesale value of $1000 and a market value of $5000. An authoritive name I would click if I were looking to make a train reservation.

The domain that I gave above is wrong

it is

www.railwayreservations.net

misplaced .com

Register the dot.com and in future make sure you own a name before throwing it up for appraisal. Its a good name that can be marketed very easily.

donny, how much are you paying for the domain names you registered at Network Solutions today?

wow, I didn't know Verisign's prices went that low.

I can't determine where the name was registered. Since it is so recent, I can't get a whois (Netsol says it's available, then says it's not). Obviously you (Donny) didn't reg it through them for $9, but through someone else. Nice name, but no grand's worth I would think. Good luck though.

The name has a nice look to it and conjures up visions of steam trains and days gone by.

I'm curious as to why you registered the .net first? Was it an oversight, or is .net a more popular extension in India than .com?

Never heard it called a railway reservation before, but interstingly the stats on ov make it seem to be an indian market thing. I can't see this having any appreciable value outside of that market - so the target buyer pool is small.

The whole .net/.com thing is just mind numbing.
