Anyone live in an area that get tornadoes during the summer? I live in Kansas and tornadoes are popping up everywhere. Currently I am in a watch but all the counties around me already have warnings.

Sigh!

I live in the tornado capital (per square mile) - Florida. Luckily most of ours are low F1's, water spouts, and spawn during tropical cyclones.

It's interesting to see them come ashore in South Beach, bounce off a few buildings, then go into the intracoastal.

We've already had a couple close to where I live and work this year - and the rainy season hasn't started!

Yup, saw that on the news. Had a brother that lived in Altus, Oklahoma in the midst of tornado alley.

Later, he went to work for Leer Jet up there in Wichita.

And we have had our share of early spring tornadoes here in NC.

A couple of years ago I literally grabbed three of my dogs and threw them in the root cellar (me included) when I heard local news mention my street as the location of a funnel touching down.

Some popping up in TN and MO. Thankfully, I am back in Florida.

I hate tornadoes. Arg.....

Uh Yeah. Me, too. :P
Do you have a safe place to go quickly?

Yes I have a full basement will a cellar.
