Total number of .NL registrations increased with 23%

SIDN, the .NL registry just published its annual report. Among other the report states that the total number of .NL registrations grew with 23% over 2007 to about 2.7 Million on Jan 1st, 2008.

The .NL is expected to pass the 3 Million milestone within the next two months.

Thanks to its popularity under residants the afttermarket of .NL is flourishing: lastest big NL sales are relategeschenk.nl (business gift) for about 110.000 USD and huren.nl (to rent) for about 100.000 USD.
