closed Traffic Stats?

May be a dumb question but how to all of you track your traffic....not by simple free web counters do you???

more importantly, how do you prove these stats to potential buyers????

This is one of the best things about listing your names with a site like DomainSponsor. You get awesome stats. First of all, the stats may convince you not to sell a name too cheaply. Second, if you do want to sell, DS will give you day by day (or any time period you want) unique visitors, and US unique visitors. Plus, you get revenue from your names while you are selling them.

You can even create a "for sale" page and have DS on the page so that you do not have to rely only on WhoIs to indicate that the names are for sale.

can you explain further....sounds interesting, what is the sign up cost??? what is the jist of the program, do i need to personally host each of my domains??? are parked pages at afternic not permitted??? how much do you revenue from DS???

First of all, did you check the PPCIncome.com website? It has a lot of good info on it. In particular, go to the home page and click on the FAQ link.

With DS, you need to have nameservers for your names (not your own personal ones, but you need nameservers somewhere) and it is best if you also can forward your traffic to a url. If you want a combo page (sale and search), then you need to have a page somewhere, probably one for each domain.

With Afternic, you are putting your names on their nameservers and serving their pages. That would not work with DS. I have not done very well selling at the old Afternic. I don't know about the new Afternic. I suggest that all of your Whois data should tell people out loud that your name is for sale.

I earn around $10/cpm at DS with mostly non-adult domains. Decent adult domains tend to earn more like $20/cpm (based on unique visitors). $20/cpm = $20.00/1000 unique visitors = $.02/unique visitor.
