Transfer name out of network solutions

Does anyone know if or how to transfer a name out of network solutions?
I found some info but it was out dated.There site only has info for transfering to them or between accounts

I know never use them but we were all newbies once

Any help is apprectiated

Simple enough.

If the name is a .com you just go into your account manager, unlock the name, start a transfer from the gaining registrar, and then approve the email notice sent.

If the name is an info or other extension requiring an auth code, in addition to the above proceedure you will need to email support (or call on their toll free #) and request that the auth code be mailed out to the current owner.

Trick is to unlock the name first, then request the auth code, as Netsol has this weird thing about changing the auth codes when names are unlocked.

I've never had a problem with transferring out of NSI.
