Trying to buy a name from Sedo!

Hi Sedo

My sedo username is "dotcoms" . I am trying to buy a name at 159 euros.

1)I cannot use paypal as I live in Thailand and am considered PNG.

2)It is not practical to do a TT as it costs me around 30 euros plus currency conversion.

3)I have offered the following options:

a)Debit card payment which you accept for showcase items but not for buying a name! I have recently used this card with escrow.com and others for name purchase amounts up to us$9000.

b)Direct bank transfer to a UK or UK offshore account- no cost to me

c)Deduct amount from next sale at Sedo, one currently pending a few this year.

d)Deduct amount from parking income, more than sufficient!

Some form of flexibility would be appreciated

It clearly states that I can buy by credit card - your words!!




Have a nice xmas and perhaps you would like to reply to me next year? Please advise seller.

The forum is not intended to replace customer service.
As I understand it, our CS representatives have already addressed this issue - the only payment methods that we accept are credit card, paypal or wire transfer.
Contact your transfer agent to discuss bank transfers to UK bank account etc.
In addition, we would advise you not to post your username on public forums.

Same problem here....just payed a $250 via wire ! costed me ~$30 for bank fees. Sedo said the only way to pay by credit card is by Paypal...which does not accept users from all EU countries! What a reliable cc proccesor !

I have on many occassions this is why I am posting here!! :huh:

This is what I received in the mail today, seems I only get the wrong emails?

Note the reference to my inaction- yeah right!!

Come on Sedo get your act together, obviously making too much money. Do not forget we are your bread and butter.

Credit card payment, hah, I tried that , you do not accept credit cards despite you and your advertising blurb saying that you do.

Check your internal messages to see how many times I have been inactive!!!
