I spoke with one of those registrars, Tucows, which runs OpenSRS. Adam Eisner is Tucows' product manager for domains. Does the release of new domains mean the end of artificial scarcity that made certain domains so valuable? In particular, Tucows has a profitable portfolio of surnames in .com.
