For instance, I hear about a lot of online companies, and youtubers, using .tv extension. Wondering how the members of dnforum feel about it and whether ya'll think it is going to continue to see steady growth as a TLD?
Also, what do you think about one I picked up fairly recently, Cybr.Tv? Thank you and be well

I think the .tv extension is picking up some popularity lately. Out of the 100+ domains I have listed on Undeveloped, my .tv domains seem to generate some of the most visits. Just some of the .tv domains I have are:
Airways.tv
Hustlers.tv
LatestEpisode.tv
DigitalStreams.tv
WomensHealth.tv
BeautyandFashion.tv
MassTransit.tv
RealtyAuction.tv
Televise.tv
Televised.tv
CarBuy.tv
etc...

I had the same impression before I saw this thread. Been watching some sales and auctions and it seems like .tv has some momentum.

I've noticed a number of healthy bids on 3 letter .tvs. I've lost out on a few where extensions like .us or some others will be an easy win around the same price. Video is growing in popularity as bandwidth grows, so the extension seems to be getting new life.

Never had the idea of using .tv for a YouTube channel. Now that I heard about looks like the obvious choice.

It is also a short and memorable extension that inherently feels like it has some sort of reputability, which is pretty cool to me lol
