.tv renewal fees

Is there anyway to re-negotiate the renewal fee of a .tv? I have heard it's possible...if anyone knows who to email or a web address please let me know.

I've heard it's only possible when registering new domains (if you purchase several years at once) but not for renewals.

Would be nice if someone could confirm it or give more information.
