typo question

does anyone own typos such as wwwexample.com, ie without a dot after www? somehow there is no OVT even for wwwgoogle.com... any ideas? is this a completely useless typo that never occurs?

wwwtypos is pretty good. I had www typo of a big swedish newschannel and it gave alot of traffic. The domain currently got a ovt w ext of 77 and i had around 2000 typeins a month. Strange that wwwgoogle.com doesnt have huge overture.. I dont got an explanation for that.

yeah i think i'll try out such typos. however its really really funny that neither wwwcnn.com nor wwwyahoo.com dont have any OVT. perhaps this some kind of mistake in OVT

Apparently overture is not displaying results for www typos. I can't imagine no one typed wwwsex.com last month!

yea, it seems to work for cctlds eg for Germany 1491 wwwgoogle.de

.co.uk doesnt work... i guess it also depends on the ccTLD. maybe OVT does something to english names
