Über in German means "over" or "above" with a million and one further applications. It's been coined into the American young-turk business lexicon to literally mean "super" and "over-the-top", some times in a sarcastic use and sometimes not, e.g., he's uber concerned, that guy's uber touchy today, what an uber a**ho*e! You get the drift.
