Uh Oh... new Fraud Scandal at Godaddy just uncovered!

The entire godaddy backorder system sucks, it's that plain and simple.

"Because you had an existing backorder on the domain(s), we have made the opening bid of $10.00 on your behalf. If the domain name sells for the opening bid price, you will receive the domain name plus a 1-year registration."

I noticed more of my backorders going to auction this month as well (after I defended GD on a post last month!).

wow they did that to me when i had a backorder with rent to own in spanish , i contacted them and they told me i would get the domain and a few days later i got an email form some guy for canada and offered to sell it to for hundreds and i bought it. i called godaddy and they wount refund me my 18.00 on the back order.

If it's a Go daddy registered domain it will go to auction, if it is a outside register ie; snapnames and you want Go Daddy to backorder it, you get it when it drops.
