I have received several similar PMs asking questions relating to this sale. Rather than answer those questions on an individual basis I figured I would answer them here, as other members probably have the same questions and concerns.
FAQ relating to this sale:
Q: Is this an auction?
A: No. This is a thread soliciting offers, which is why I started it in the "offers" section of the forum and not the "auctions" section.
Q: Do you have any intention of selling these domains or are you just gauging market value?
A: All of these domains are most defiantly for sale.
Q: I have submitted an offer, if no one beats my offer will I defiantly get name?
A: This is not an auction. Some of these domains will be sold for the minimum offer of $300 if no further offers are received. Others that I perceive to have a far higher value than the highest offer received won't be.
Q: What are the advantages of being the highest bidder?
A: When I decide to add BIN prices (see next question) the highest bidder at that time will be given first refusal at purchasing the name at the BIN price. If the high bidder declines to purchase the domain at the BIN price that BIN price will be opened up to everyone.
If, after a period of time no one claims the domain at the BIN price, the high bidders offer will be reviewed and either accepted or declined.
Q: When will you be adding fixed price (BIN) asking prices?
A: I will begin to add fixed price (BIN) prices early next week (1st – 3rd of May). BIN prices will only be added on some names that have received offers. Names that have had no offers will not have BIN prices added.
Q: I can't be bothered to wait. Can I offer a BIN price that you must either accept or decline within a specified period of time?
A: Yes however I would only consider such an offer if it was well over any existing offers. For example, offering $350 - $400 as a BIN price on a name that already has an existing offer of $300 won't cut it.
Thanks
