i have just bought a uk generic name, and have seen that someone has filed a trademark with the uk patent office.

as a class 42, relating to web business/domains etc and another class for advertising .

eg. if the name was cars.co.uk. this company has put in an application for cars, class42. apart from the fact it is a very generic name, do you think they have any chance under dispute to take the name ?

if there trademark is approved, - 2006. this name has been registered since 1995. and i have a just created a company under the domain name..

any chance of losing it ?

with uk DRS you never know....

When was their company formed?
