.US results in 277% increase in Godaddy "For Sale" pages

"One week into the release of the .US domain name extension, Go Daddy Software, the industry's fastest growing registrar, reports that initial sales indicate a revival in speculative domain name buying. With a 277% increase in their "For Sale" parked pages, it appears that the newest Internet suffix is being responded to in ways that its predecessors, .BIZ, .INFO, and .NAME never were."

But American Pride is close to proving that Dot US will emerge the fastest and the best one ever.

true but then again .biz/.info registrations were stong initially but with grow rates slowing dramatically in the last month or two according to snapnames figures.
