.US results in 277% increase in Godaddy "For Sale" pages

With a 277% increase in their "For Sale" parked pages, it appears that the newest Internet suffix is being responded to in ways that its predecessors, .BIZ, .INFO, and .NAME never were."

true but then again .biz/.info registrations were stong initially but with grow rates slowing dramatically in the last month or two according to snapnames figures.
