which states does the 'three strikes and you're out' apply to?
as I have heard horror stories where someone has done 3 ridiculously trivial things and they get life
not wishing this on her but surely she's notching up some serious repeat offender behaviour here
or maybe she likes it inside. carpet munching and all that...............

PRED - that's for felonies only, and I don't think any of her past convictions were felonies.

Don't be so sure. I working with a case right now with this "rescue" that was caught with evidence of a ton of criminal level animal abuse laws, 20 witnesses, 7 of them filing details formal reports about the situation. The person was not even ARRESTED, and we're trying to find out why. He's know for blaming his disability, plays the victim, and everything is everyone else's fault. As far as I can tell, he's 50 and never had a job, living off family members and his scams. His writing, his fake 'supporters', his use of social media is VERY similar to our pal here.

I doubt they did "nothing" about it. a conviction is doing something, making her pay restitution is doing something, probation is doing something, I'd be interested to know what she was charged with the first time... On a first offense, it's not hard for a public defender to plead minor cases like this down, and the DA usually takes what they can get because of the backlog and costing the taxpayers $$$$ to prosecute, But when you have a record of a prior offense, the District Attorney's office is not nearly as lenient the second or 3rd time around, I just don't see this poor excuse of a human being getting out of this without serving jail time, not of a second offense.

I should add (for the benefit of those not in the US and those under the same misunderstanding) that 3 strikes is used "where someone has done 3 ridiculously trivial things".

That's nonsense spread by the families of career criminals trying to get their criminal release. One of the more famous ones whined that one of his 3 strikes was for "stealing a piece of pizza". True - but it was done at GUNPOINT, the prior 2 strikes were violent felonies, and the person was so drink or high that the pizza was more important than life imprison, since it was not a secret that his next felony was a "3rd strike". But Wahh wahhh wahhh that was soooo unfair...!!

Some of the others turn out to be multiple violent felonies, but they are plea bargained to the least charge to spare the victims of a pointless long trial when they already have a 3 strikes case on the most obvious crime. The the criminal takes the plea, pleads guilty on the smallest of the felonies, then spends years whining in prison about how unfair it was to stop his crime spree.

Woman Posing as an Attorney Arrested

Deputies arrested Andrea Deluca Wednesday at a motel on Front Beach Road.

They say Deluca rented office space in Downtown Panama City and began accepting clients.

One woman claims she paid Deluca 1,000 dollars for legal work that was never completed.

Investigators say Deluca is not a member of the Florida Bar Association.

She's due in court Thursday for a bond hearing.

Mystery behind the leg tatoo solved.

It is a typical Italian and Roman Catholic "relic" pose of hands clasped in prayer holding a rosary with the name of her one true love forever emblazoned on her flesh.
