I see holds, where do you "clearly" see reversals?

In the image, in bold lettering, it shows; "This transaction has been reversed" with another transaction number.

It must mean it was reversed by Paypal, not the buyer.

I would like to know though, Why was it put on hold or reversed in the first place?, perhaps TwoStep420 can answer that.

The paypal image she's showing on your transaction, (and I have the numbers) Clearly indicates that your payment was reversed.

Hmmm.....not sure what you mean. Here is a screenshot from my PayPal account: http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/7301/paypalmuk.jpg

Once I opened the dispute, Seller (Patty) had 10 days to respond. On 7/25, with about 2 hours to spare, Patty responded to PayPal saying the domain names and the development deliverables were "in route." Because she responded within 10 days, that keeps the case open until it is finally reviewed by Paypal. Unfortunately, it is a first come first serve basis and my case is simply on the waiting list.

From what I understand, my recovery will be limited to the amount of money in Patty's account at the time I filed the dispute...which I'm sure is zero.

and here I was helping her last nite on IM to fix a spam link on her site.....:(
You did it because you are Tony Floyd and that's what you do...help others.

So I thank you for that.

I see reviewed but can't find reversed

TwoSteps is absolutely correct. If he did a normal claim it will show on hers a reversal. And yea even if they side with you good luck getting your money back if it wasn't in paypal. That's probably your only hope.

i see that many members still do not do research or ask questions before doing biz with people.
as a little digging would have raised many questions.

no one seems to have bothered to ask Patty for any references as a broker, list of previous names sold, etc, beforehand

everyone taking her word on face value

this is another "Teachable Moment" for many

others should be taking serious notes for the future!!!

Can you post a screenshot of the PayPal "payment detail" screen which describes the item paid for?

If the account was drained of your money, I'll help you in any way I can. This is starting to look like straight-up fraud.

so....don't you think a permanent ban is necessary to show that these type of people are not tolerated here...

Couldn't get the whole screen in the shot...but you can see the "note" at the bottom.

At this point I think my bank is my only hope.

I assume you're talking about me, among others. Let me be clear:

1) I approached her (based on some of her posts here), not the other way around, so my suspicions were low.

2) I saw that she owned some domains, and that she had a blog talking about her success in selling domains.

3) Nothing suspicious about her past record here (at that time)

4) She was very willing to give me her address, phone # etc. Emails (at first) were answered very quickly.

5) She never asked me for money up front. Our agreement was commission only.

Only very recently were there unanswered emails, and a couple that didn't make sense... then the this thread came up.

At the very moment you posted this screenshot, CLEARLY showing you are purchasing RNR.COM (and another domain), Patty sent me this PM:

***************
He was buying another name. I never told him he could have RNR. As I stated and will gladly show you the contract to present to you that I as in the works with another buyer.

WOW!

Looks like CASE CLOSED to me.

What happened between TwoStep420 and Juniperpark is enough to convince me that Patty is a fraud... I will no longer try to defend her here.

I did so because I thought she deserved the benefit of the doubt.

I have always thought Democrat was an attention hound and nothing more than a lot of hot air...but I have kept my opinions to myself before....but she can certainly draw a crowd for some reason...kind of like the lovable loser.

I knew Patty had a lot of "hot air", high expectations and all... But I never once figured her for a scammer. With all the correspondence we had, there was not a sign of foul play.

Raider, youre a kind soul but dont be naive.

I never thought of myself as naive, but I suppose in this case I was.

By going to the coffee shop, democrat probably meant changing her identity, withdrawing all her money into cash, and running to the Cayman Islands or something...

:) We need to talk. Sending you a PM.

From the looks of it, Paypal has your money frozen in her account, Have you called Paypal to get further details? I would do that first.

Also, What form of payment did you use?

Keep in mind, you have 60 days from the date of the transaction to dispute the charge with your credit card company or Bank debit card...

I wouldn't be too worried, If you didn't pay by wire, you should get your money back NP.
