ive been trading domains for a few years and im still a complete dunce when it comes to redirecting names etc

all my domains are at enom

currently i have a forum - say this forum is www.whateverforums.com

however, im developing the main site - the forum is going to be integrated into the main site and for this to work the forums have to be at www.whatever.com/forums/

right, so how do i mask whateverforums.com so that someone who links to whatever.com will go to whatever.com/forums and someone who goes to whateverforums.com/thread123 will be the same as whatever.com/forums/thread123

please accept my apologies in advance for making an easy question seem harder than it is!!:-D

rightio

cheers

If your site is a forum site, you could move the forum to the root directory, instead of in the folder named forums.

well at the moment the site is just a forum but it will be the forums of a bigger main site soon
