No trademark issues. Perfect name for a new modem related U.S. company, or as a pointer for an existing one.

modems are kind of a thing of the past, what with Broadband pretty much having taken over... hard to give a value to the DN
 
Thanks for your thoughts, UD, but I'm not clear on your point about Broadband vs. modems, as there are ADSL and Broadband modems. The term "modem" is still very much with us.

Any other thoughts?
 
Well, I'll go with reg. fee on the reseller side and if you can find a company which specializes in or is called USModem then jackpot!
 
How are US modems different from any other modems? Reg fee for the moment.
 
I agree with you, but at the same time, when you say "modem" only, most people think of the 56K variety, not the broadband kind...
