You may find the history behind Network Solutions in the following article to be very interesting:

http://www.salon.com/tech/feature/2002/07/02/gilmore/index.html?x

Verisign obviously bought on the crest and the seller could see what would eventually happen to the domain market as soon as competition was introdiced.

In light of the Verisign share price drop, would you please disregard all the advice other members have given about not regging rubbish names, and GO FOR IT!!

Don't forget you've got a whole 63 character length to aim for, and mix around letters and numbers, and not forgetting hyphens, as freely as you wish. Why not take the same name in .com, .net and .org? And there's also the 10 year registration period button that's available to select.

Make sure you do this at NetSol.

:) :)

Thanks fizz - will do ;) :)
Hmmmmmm- I wonder when NetSol.com will expire?

Canel that buy domains suggestion: Verisign stock just jumped 19 percent. I give up!
