"View New Posts" button?

I can't find the "View New Posts" button recently.

Anyone else have this problem or am I just missing its new location?

I guess the cookie has changed to "View Todays Posts" instead. I thought I was logged out too!

Hey Guys--I still have mine. On the category page--where it lists the different threads in that category--it's in the far left column--down arrow--go to first new post.

Once in a thread--it's at the top left--just above the first post--down arrow--go to first unread post.

I'm not sure why you would not be seeing them. I will send Greg a message. Out of curiosity--what scheme are you set on in your options? Is it default?

As best I can tell the "View Todays Posts" link does not really replace the "View New Posts" link. The former shows you all posts even if you have already read them and clicked on them as read. The latter did not. For true DNF addicts who look several times a day, the former is much less helpful in focusing on new posts.

NamePopper, my scheme is default. Its all my default . Seriously, though, I can not find any button that does the "View New Posts" function on the main index page like there once was.

Yeah we were talking about different new post buttons. I gotcha now. Just sent message to Greg--he should be answering you soon. He is making a lot of changes--and with several "schemes" to cover--that is probably just a temporary thing. Hang in there--we will get it figured out. Thanks to all you guys for bringing it to our attention.

I liked the view today's post better than view new posts because really you get both. There is an indication on the posts that haven't been read. No problem, I'll add back the view new posts You can also bookmark www.dnforum.com/search.php?s=&action=getnew .

Great, gregr. I hate missing some unread posts previously, but then the "Today's Posts" thing is too clumsy. Now we have the best of both worlds. Cheers!
