Tough to value .US this early on, but I like the name. Just as movie studios take a domain named after a movie in order to promote it - this would be a great domain to promote a certain position on election issues (you could try leasing it out for say a one year period, so you could continue to profit from it as issues change). If someone approached you - I would ask for $200-$300 to lease for a given election, maybe $500-$750 to buy.
