Sad for me.

I remember sitting on my grand-dad's lap as he used to watch this news every nite.

Former CBS anchor 'Uncle Walter' Cronkite dead at 92

Oh, man...what a class act.

And a sign off.

Back in the day...only three networks, only three channels, and they signed off at 9pm.

i won't say 'sad' though. a man that has a happy family, gets to spend an incredibly long career doing exactly what he wants at the top of his career and passing away at 92 is never sad

he is what every newsreader/anchor should aspire to be though

My personal 'sadness' remembering the time I had with my granddad. Walter Cronkite was a household ritual every night. Sit on granddad's lap in the big chair and watch the news.

My granddad was a fighter pilot in WWI.
