Anyways, the chat room isn't working for me. Do I need some sort of software for it to work?

Welcome, insomnia! I sent you a gift.
The chat does NOT require any special software or plug-in's that I'm aware of ... but the last time I tried to get in (just before last Sunday's auction), I could not access and when I did it was screwy. Haven't tried since, but I'm hoping it's now OK. Please keep me posted on this matter.

Guys - I just downloaded Netscape and the chat seems to work for that, so - deh

Normally, its a firewall problem. It works fine for me. My home PC user NIS, but corporate firewalls tend to be a lot stricter.
