It seems good to me?? Maybe the .net holds down the value a bit but it's about the web isn't it so someone might even prefer it??

But major extension has been snapped isn't it?

should this 'word' ever become really popular (and it looks like it starting to), then I dont think .net is going to seriosuly damage it. Sure, .net isnt .com, but its second to it
I think some people are biased against .net without realizing, that to non domain professionals, .com is #1 by a difference, and .net is #2 (especially in type ins)
