Maybe it's just me but I found this one to be hilarious :cheesy:. I came across Webmasterbates.com aged 6 years today and could not pass it up. Not sure on a use other than a brand-able adult webmaster's website. Any thoughts or ideas?

Online porn is a dying business due to the tubes, torrents, and file sharing sites.

Other than that, the domain is utterly useless in mainstream.

But, if you don't consider those factors, it is great.

It may mean "webmaster rebates". It has no "mastur....." spelling is more link webmaster.... rather than webMastur.....

Agreed, who wants to pay for something that they can get for free :approve:. Although for some reason people still do... I have no intentions on getting into the online adult industry. I bought the domain for a steal of a price and figured if it caught my attention it would grab the attention of others. As far as being useless I would not say that, I sell brand-able domains all the time that one person might think is junk but the next person comes along and thinks it's as good as gold.

Great suggestion, Had not thought of that. Although after searching for that term in google it appears not many webmaster's offer rebates, actually one of the few results is this thread ...

I am looking for other alternative's to market this domain to other than an adult webmaster (Developer). Any ideas?

Yes, I can see it now in a Don Draperesque moment of epiphany. It's quite catchy: "Webmasterbates.com - the Webmaster who master...oh nevermind"

I can't see much use for it other than as an insider joke.
