sale and org are contradictory. Org is non-profit. sale is profit. I cant see a use.

Two points:
1) There are no restrictions on .org. Anybody can register a .org name. Originally .org was intended to be for non-profit organizations, but they are free for anybody to register. Yes, the generalization lives on, but it is not 100% accurate.
2) "Sale" and ".org" are FAR FROM contradictory. Non-profit organizations make sales and make a profit all the time. How do you think they pay their employees and cover their expenses?
I belong to a non-profit credit union. The tellers certainly do not work for free. The credit union lends money and make INTEREST on the loans. Being a non-profit organization merely means that that you cannot show excess money on the books at the end of the year (I am sure there is more to it than this).
