I have pre ordered a few .co domains, mostly for my own businesses use but have got a few speculative ones as well.

Any ideas as to how the extension will fare?

Good news for Columbians.

I think they will go the way of .mobi and .tv domains... in a few years you won't hear of .co domains IMO... or they'll just be bought by typo squatters.

I hope this is not played up like the .cm - a typo of com

Ooops! Too late.

Yes, a typo gold-mine!

I even got an e-mail from a registrar stating clearly that advantage!

Even though I'm against it, I have invested $500 into it. Generic domains dealing with big end user will guarantee a return! From searching for generic words, I got luck with several, if it goes through - I will make a profit!

Denny the typo king will be after them all so if you get any just sell them to him and add a few zeros on the end ;-)
