What is a ´regular´ CTR at Adsense?

I have different CTR with Adsense and I know that this question dependes how and where the blocks are located and it depends if the website show something interesting or somethin ´boring´....

Even so, my question is what is an acceptable CTR for an adsens banner? Or tell me your experience...

Ideally, you would want about a 15% ctr to make some decent money. But most people get <1%-5% on adsense.

In some cases I get alot more then 10%

There are many factors, quality of traffic, integration, color of ads, relevance of ads, etc etc

I am not talking about forums though.

IMO, greater than 3.0 - 4.0% on a diverse category portfolio and you are doing above average, except forums where a very low 0.10% is somewhat common.

50,000 how often? About how many categories in the account? Is the 5.53% based on the page with multiple units, or per individual unit? The stats can be toggled in the CP either way as you probably know.

When i click "individual unit"
70,793 impressions 3.55% ctr these stats are from June 19 to now. i have 21 ad channels.

It just has to do w/targetted traffic, blending, and positioning.

Those DNF temps in your sig should have a decent CTR, the few DNF temps I have do well (30%+). Some people have posted that they get over 50% with the temps.

Actually, they don't get anything close to my parked domains. EfficientEnergies.com is probably the best but still under 20% I'm pretty sure. I'm wondering if templates aren't overdone. Maybe just a 2-3 page template with less content would have better click through? One of the things I like about parked pages is that they don't mess around, they shoot straight for the goal.

On consistant traffic sites (organic) I get around 4% -6% consistant.
But now to try out YPN! on those sites. Click through is often lower, but clicks are worth more $$$

Are you guys all talking about Adsense/YPN sites or Parked Pages too?

I do not know a lot about parking but many experts claim parked pages get significantly greater CTR than sites typically achieve, i.e. 25%-35% for many parked pages vs only 3 to 5% for actual websites.

My numbers are close to that. For August:

Parked Domains: 19.81% click through
Google Content: 4.35%
Google Search: 7.69%

I have some parked sites at 50%+ (and some ar 2%) but the $$$ that I get are much lower the the adsense pages with lower ctr..
