What is the total number of .tv domain name registrations for Verisign? 1 million+?

I am wondering if anyone knows the total domain name registrations for .tv are. I can not find the number anywhere and Verisign never seems to publish it in their Domain Industry report or their investor Annual Report.

Some have said more than a million. Does anyone have an exact number? Last verified number was 473,000 back in 2003. I am sure they exceeded a million right?

One million ? I truly doubt. It should be more visible then. Personally my guesstimate would be roughly as much as .me, or somewhere in the same league.
Obviously the stats must not be rosy enough to be made public. If people were able to compare .tv growth & acceptance vs other mainstream TLDs, probably .tv would take a hit.
