Now thjat I think of it, I have a few relating to my profession (public relations), including ProReleases.com, PRFirms.info, PRPractitioner.com, PRPractitioners.com, MilwaukeePR.com, MilwaukeePRFirm.com, MilwaukeePRFirms.com, and PublicRelationsFirms.org.

Actually it's the capital of a country. I got it through TBR. I paid low $xxx.

If I remember right, didn't Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones secure the domain name of their child before the child was even born? Just goes to show you, never have a kid until you've checked the availability of his domain name first!

also own some of the towns in my region in .org, .info, .tv, .mobi
over the years I've bought other domains for personal reasons, like numbers relating to important dates, various words (like my profession in .mobi), interests, etc. usually in .ca or .info because you just can't get them in .com easily
