FYI: BuyDomains let theautotrader.com drop today.
This looks to me like it might have been an oversight on their part since the name was "grabbed" for them by a "partner" of SnapNames only last August 23rd. Why would it would be dropping today, July 29th? (It was bid up to $3,600. on NameWinner today but Pool got it!)
And in SnapNames today, theautotrader.com read like this in my account: Releases on 23-Aug-2006! They didn't even try to get it because it is scheduled to be dropped next year and it is being treated as if it were a domain name belonging to one of their "Preferred Partners" (the same registrar that grabbed it last August!)
Just checked Andrew's registrar list at whois-search.com; biditwinit catches for pool not snapnames. This just gets weirder.
