Hi,
What time does a domain expire ? When I look at sites that's showing expiring domains it just says what day, but I want to be first to grab a .biz domain, what time does it expire and what timezone are you in that tells me it?

Best regards / Tore

emm...this is a good question that need to be discovered!
All lthese while I only know or aware of the expiring date, but what's the exact time for that? It really didn't come across my mind for this question.

By the way, would a time factor contribute a major deciding factor in this area? especially for high demanded names?

i believe that there is no longer a hard and fast rule (though there may have been at one time)... as each registrar appears to be bending the rules to cater to their own aftermarket service. ie godaddy for tdnam, and nsi for snapnames, though i would love to here from someone who knows for sure.

When using various tools over at enom I see names expire at midnight of the date. So at 0.00 hours PST

And just for clarification you can use this chart to see a time line before the name is actually able to br reg'ed again.

If you really want the name use services that backorder a name like snap names or name winner, pool....DN has one too! it works well have grabbed 2 names for me in the past year.

Hope that helps. ;-)
